Stampin' Up! Christmas List Registry

Ok, so how many of you have browsed the catalogues and have created a wishlist as long as your arm and would love to get some of it for Christmas, but like me, you are kind of fed up with buying your own presents?

Well here is the solution, just 2 easy steps.....

  1. Register your wish list with me, I will store it with your name.
  2. Pass on my email address (or email me to get my phone number) to family, friends - significant others etc and ask them to mail/call me and I can help them to choose you a little something to open on Christmas day. The good thing about this is both you know and tehy know you will love it!
To ensure I can get all the orders out before Christmas the cut off date for this is Wednesday 10th December.

So don't dally - get everyone organised and start ticking off those items on your Stampin' Up! Wish List!

Remember, so long as the delivery postal address is in Australia I can take the order, payment can be processed by bank transfer, cheque (chqs must clear before order is fully processed), I can also accept any credit card payment via PayPal without the person requiring a PayPal account, they simply need an email address.

Happy Christmas, Mate!

Well believe it or not I have made mine - finally! I actually started them a couple of months back. I just stamped loads of images on watercolour paper and every time I had a moment I coloured them in using markers and an aquapainter. I even took them to the hairdressers with me etc!

Despite going great guns at the start the enthusiasm kind of petered out and nothing was done with the images for weeks until now! Now the cards are very simple, aminly because I was making about 10 f each kind and I really could not be bothered to put any more work in to them, the water colouring took ages so that was my huge effort!

I chose this particular stamp set as most of the cards will be going over to family and friends in the UK (I don't send cards to people I see regularly as I can simply say "Happy Christmas" and save a few trees!). They believe we spend Christmas on the beach, little do they realise how unpredictable the weather here in Tas is and how cold it can be, we even had snow on the mountain on Christmas day a couple of years back! So, any way, I thought these cards would make them laugh as they are so 'Aussie' even down to the sentiment! I particulary love the surfing santa and suspect I will end up making more of those.

Last one of the night!

Now I have been feeling guilty having shown you some samples from the new catalogue when you can't get them right now so I decided to look back in the current Spring Mini and show you some of the things that can be done with those stamp sets.

I have not shared much with them as the mini came out right in the midst of my ill and busy stage when I did not do much so I shall try and make the most of them in the next few days.

One set I have totally overlooked is Tags for All, the reason I bought it, despite being one of the more pricey sets, is I knew I could just use it over and over again every christmas for the rest of my life and no one would really know!

The truth is people read the tag and then it is disregarded in favour of the present! These tags can be dressed up as much as you want or they can simply be stamped and left - too easy!

One thought I had is stamping them on an A4 sticker sheet and then simpley cutting them out and sticking them on the present - I have a feeling I will be doing this on Christmas Eve!

So these are the seven tags, for these I tried to limit the supplies I used so they were relatively effective yet quick to make. The only card stock I used was Real Red and Whisper White. The only inks I used were Old Olive, Real Red, Bashful Blue and Summer Sun Stamp'n'Wirte markers (don't forget the current great promotion where you can buy these markers separately until 30th November!) and Stazon Black ink.

I have also used elements of these tags to deocrate some gift boxes, simply use a circle punch and selctively punch out areas.

Ok, so now I am on a roll!

Actually am cheating now as these projects I made all the way back in September and never quite managed to get photographed etc.

I was given this idea when i visited Melbourne a few months back, i saw these quirky little book marks which were so ridiculously simple yet effective. The person selling them made his life even easier by simply putting a sticker on them for decoration, but you can guess it, I went one step further and stamped! This is just the beginning I can see!

These ones I have made for a friend, she has her own cafe and is often leafing through cookbooks so I instantly knew she needed some book marks and these should be made from the Tart'n'Tangy set from the current Spring Mini (I love this set!).

I made five in total and have attached them to a piece of black card stock so you can see them clearly.

They just fit snugly over the page and unlike the paperclip bookmarks they don't crease the page at all and due to some little magnets they won;t slip out either unlike a standard bookmark - good news!

here is a close up of one of them

I have used Crystal Effects on the pieces of fruit to life them up a bit and make them a little more mouthwatering!

Ok,
